Maintenance User Guide
Release Document Locks

This utility releases all Clinical document locks, including locks held by active users. Note that this utility is only available to practitioners or users of type 'Practice Manager'.

 

1.      Ensure Clinical is closed on all computers.

2.      Locate and double-click the MedicalDirector Maintenance icon from your desktop. The MedicalDirector Maintenance window appears.]

3.      Select the Database Tasks > Clinical menu item.

 

4.      Double-click

If this is the first time you have tried to open the Release Document Locks utility during this session of working in MedicalDirector Maintenance, you will be prompted to select a Configuration, and enter your Username and Password.

5.      You will be prompted that all document locks will be released. Click if you wish to proceed.

 

6.      You will be notified when the document locks have been released.
